Our Fire Department has the following apparatus to serve our community and surrounding mutual and auto-aid communities.
Each of these units are virtal to our area and our residents in their time of need. Our Firefighters have the training and knowledge to handle the following situations:
Each of our Firefighters have gone through training and requirements for the State of Ohio Fire Academy and have maintained hours with both in-department training, as well as, online training and seminars, as required by the State of Ohio.
Our Fire Department averages approximately 90 calls per year as of 2021. This may increase, or decrease from year to year depending on many things, especially during the spring and summer months for grass and field fires.
Our Department consists of 13 Personnel and 8 Cadets, as of March 2022. We launched our CADET program in the Spring of 2022. Our Cadets meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, but they also are encouraged to come and train with the firefighters on their normal Tuesday evening training at 7:00pm as well.
We also have mutual trainings with the following departments throughout the year and we appreciate their support in working with them:
Being able to work side by side with such a diverse group of departments and personnel in the area helps us with getting to know and work with their crews along with different training techniques and technology.
